Do I need prior cybersecurity or IT experience?

No. The WhiteHat Core programme is designed for career-changers with little to no security background. We start with fundamentals and build systematically. However, basic computer literacy is helpful.
What are the admission requirements?

You need a high school diploma or equivalent, basic English proficiency, and a working computer with reliable internet. You'll complete a short application form and one-on-one interview with admissions.
Are there age restrictions?

No. We welcome learners of all ages. Our cohorts typically range from age 21 to 55+, with diverse backgrounds in IT, finance, healthcare, and other sectors.
When does the next cohort start?

Our next cohort begins April 6, 2026. Applications are now open. We admit on a rolling basis, so earlier application improves your chances of acceptance.
Are you GI Bill eligible?

Curriculum & Learning
What will I actually learn in 60 weeks?

You'll cover cybersecurity fundamentals, networking, Linux, ethical hacking, penetration testing, incident response, cloud security, AI threats, compliance frameworks, and hands-on cyber range labs. See our full curriculum for week-by-week details.
How much hands-on practice is there?

Approximately 60% of the programme is hands-on labs. You'll have 24/7 access to our cyber range, live Capture-the-Flag challenges, and real penetration testing scenarios.
Is the course 100% online?
▼
Yes, fully online. However, we encourage attendance at optional live group sessions and mentorship calls. All recordings are available for on-demand viewing.
Can I study part-time?

Yes. Most students balance 15–30 hours per week alongside work or other commitments. The 60-week timeline is flexible based on your pace, though we recommend consistent weekly engagement.

How much does the WhiteHat programme cost?

The full WhiteHat Core programme is £4,200. We offer flexible payment plans (monthly or quarterly), scholarships for eligible candidates, and GI Bill support.
Do you offer scholarships?

What about K.A.T.A. and HALT AI Hack pricing?

K.A.T.A. (4-week AI Security course) is £39. HALT AI Hack (threat awareness certification) is £49. Both are one-time payments with immediate access.
Are there hidden fees?

No hidden fees. The price covers all course materials, cyber range access, mentorship, live sessions, and certifications. We're transparent about cost.

What certifications will I earn?

WhiteHat graduates earn BMCC Continuing Education certificates, plus CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), and OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) exam prep. HALT AI Hack awards its own threat awareness cert.
Are these certifications recognised by employers?

Yes. CompTIA Security+, CEH, and OSCP are globally recognised industry credentials. We also have a network of hiring partners who actively recruit graduates.
